Our Beginnings.....
The Natural Sage™ began as a holistic company in 1993 by its founder, Catherine Dougherty. Catherine had experienced a health crisis in December 1995 which precipitated a search for the right medical model to support healing and wellness. Catherine discovered that a more hands-on and holistic approach to wellness was needed. She extensively researched natural remedies; already a supporter of a more organic lifestyle, Catherine was convinced herbal remedies to be the solution. After becoming an herbalist and developing over 100 different medicinal formulas for her own health, she turned her attention to her most beloved pet, Patti.
Patti, a lively Parson Jack Russell Terrier, holistic by nature, influenced the beginnings and growth of the Top Dog™ line. Although Patti has departed, many of us still can see Patti interrupting Catherine at work for a little ball or a healing touch in an area where she wanted attention... and of course, we associate the Top Dog™ line with our beloved friend Patti...
Today...
Today, The Natural Sage™ has grown over these fifteen years to a popular variety of proprietary herbal teas, formulas and services.

- Our products are not tested on animals.
- In an effort to maintain an earth-friendly low carbon footprint, all formulas are packaged in FDA approved paper/polyfoil packaging that contributes very little to landfill, compared to rigid containers such as plastic bottles. Our packaging is re-sealable, vapor-guarded; light impenetrable, tamper resistant, and shipped with care.
- The Natural Sage™ Herbals are made entirely in the Unites States of America.
